DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM (DC) 
Early admission student (junior or senior) enrolls in a college level course and receives simultaneous academic credit for the course from both college and high school.  Courses for dual credit are taken during the regular high school attendance hours. A partnership has been established by Father Yermo Schools and El Paso Community College to guarantee the process.   Eligibility. High school juniors and seniors, take Accuplacer college placement exam, complete college early admissions requirements by registration deadlines and register for the class. 

CREDIT BY EXAM (CBE) 
Students in grades 9-12 who have received previous instruction in a subject area, may earn credit for the subject by passing an exam ( with a score of 70% or higher) that assesses the knowledge and skills in that subject area. Students in grades 9-12 seeking placement credit in a subject area in which they have not received prior instruction, may earn credit by passing the exam with a grade of 90%
