PHASE II CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

During the year 2000 Father Yermo Schools established a capital campaign to assure its development. It took some time to create a plan of action, and to establish the appropriate legal channels to accomplish our goal. Father Yermo Capital Campaign Inc. (FYCCI) was established in 2000 as  a Texas nonprofit corporation, formed exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes.

FYCCI is empowered to provide advice and guidance on fundraising strategies and activities, and to solicit, receive and maintain funds, and apply such funds for the design, construction and maintenance of educational facilities and construction projects at Father Yermo Schools as well as the establishment of scholarship programs for students attending Father Yermo.

Two phases were defined:

1) Phase I focused on building  the multipurpose center that would include a gym, classrooms, stage and offices.  The project was concluded on March 2006, with the inauguration of the “Rudolph Miles Multipurpose Center.”

2) Phase II is the  building of a central library-media and resource center for the main campus.  The project kick off was officially announced during the 50th anniversary dinner in October 2008.
